IMPORTANT!!!  The filing notice for the World Trade Center presumption expires September 11, 2010. To be eligible for this presumption, the applicant must have participated in World Trade Center rescue, recovery or clean up operations for any period of time within the first 48 hours after the first airplane crashed or a minimum of 40 hours between September 11, 2001 and September 12, 2002. Hopefully you have filed the notice (RS6047N) previously, but if not, take care of it now.  Also if you have not done so you should file a notice form (WTC-12) with the NYS Workers Compensation Board. Both these forms are available at the DAI office.
